Does photography interest you and
you never had the chance to pursue
your interest? Do you have friends who are photography enthusiasts?
Well why not try Photowalking? It is an opportunity to take pictures
and do a simple form of exercise - walking - all at the same time!
I first saw a movie that included as section about Photowalking. The
star of the movie was Jim Carey and the movie was Yes Man.
At the time
I did not know anything about Photowalking.
What is Photowalking? Photowalking is simply an opportunity for you
take a camera, to a designated area, and take pictures while walking.
Photowalking is even better when a few of your friends who are
interested in photography, join you. You can exchange ideas and best of
all photowalking is another simply way to get some out-door exercise. A
photowalking session may last 1 - 2 hours.
All you will need for the photowalking session is a camera. It doesn't
matter what kind, you can simply walk with your cell phone of you like.
I would like to suggest that you take minimal gear as possible, a
comfortable pair of sneakers and a bottle of water.
Now you may be wondering what you would do with the photos after the
photowalking session. Well there are many things you can do. If you
already have a blog, you can post your pictures. Or you can start a
blog and post your photos. There are also websites that invite people
to submit their photos after their photowalking sessions and some sites
offer prizes for the best picture. You might just be a luck winner!
Another benefit of Photowalking is being with a group of creative
people can help you see things in ways you hadn't noticed before. But
the best part is that Photowalking is a great way to spend time with
your friends and doing something that you all enjoy and have fun doing
it!
